Fort Ross Rd

Fort Ross Rd connects Fort Ross with Cazadero. It starts with a very steep climb: you gain more than 400 m in less than 3.5 km. It's an average grade of 12%. The road then continues to Cazadero mostly downhill with the exception of a moderate 200 m climb.

From Hwy 1 you can choose slightly less steep alternative routes to the top of Fort Ross Rd. From the South, you can take Meyer's Grade Rd or from the North Timber Cover Rd and Seaview Rd.

If you come Cazadero you can continue North on Hwy 1 or on Seaview Rd which get you to Skaggs Rd.

If you are heading the other way, you can take Cazadero Hwy down to the River River and River Rd.
